Gamma Electronics & Tessco Technologies Announce Partnership
Gamma Electronics is excited to announce our partnership with Tessco Technologies, a leading distributor in the wireless industry. As stated on their website, Tessco Technologies “…provided key equipment for the second ever cellular network built in the USA, in 1983. And over 30 years later, Tessco is continuing to set the pace as the leading value-added distributor to the wireless world.”
In an email recently sent to their customer base Tessco Technologies also announced the partnership:
“Best known for their AT&T approved Cold Shrink and Clam Shells, Gamma Electronics designs and manufactures the industry’s leading weatherproofing products in addition to an array of cable assembly and cable identification products. Focusing specifically on products between the antenna and the radio Gamma Electronics has emerged as the optimal choice for cables and weatherproofing. Tessco will distribute Gamma’s weatherproofing products including Gamma Cold Shrink, Clam Shells, Slide-on Boots and Magic Tape. Tessco will also distribute Gamma’s low PIM and low loss cable assemblies that are conveniently paired with matching Gamma weatherproofing products.”
This agreement will allow Gamma Electronics to better meet the increasing needs of the wireless industry, more specifically in servicing the telecommunications, DAS, and WISP markets, (to name a few). As stated above Tessco will carry Gamma’s cable and weatherproofing solutions.
